Local ECK centers and study groups sponsor a variety of classes and events. Introductory TalksEckankar introductory talks provide a chance for seekers to explore their own spiritual interests and learn more about the ECK teachings. A recent Gallup poll states 33% of the public believe they have had a spiritual experience at some point in their lives. If this includes you, come explore the meaning behind your experience. Book DiscussionsStudying the ECK works in a supportive group setting provides opportunity for lively discussion as well as the room for each participant to find their own answers. For those new to ECK, book discussion groups serve as a great introduction to the benefits of attending ECK Satsang classes for members. ECK Worship ServiceThe public is invited to attend the ECK Worship Service. Each service focuses on an aspect of Eckankar and features a reading from the ECK works, singing HU, talks, music, and a group discussion of spiritual principles at work in daily life. The service lasts about an hour. Kid-Friendly Services: During the Worship Service, an adult-monitored play room is provided for children. Parents with infants or toddlers are invited to sit in the play room to listen to the service. WorkshopsECK Workshops offer an opportunity to thoroughly explore spiritual topics and provide valuable seeds for self-exploration. Led by trained facilitators, workshops combine formal presentation, group discussion, hands-on activities, and question-and-answer periods. SeminarsECK seminars are open to the public and offer spiritual students of all backgrounds a rich program featuring workshops, roundtable discussions, inspirational talks, creative arts, programs for youth and families, and much more. Local seminars are an enjoyable way to learn more about Eckankar. Programs may include talks, stories, panel discussions, workshops, and creative arts performances. These afternoon or evening seminars often include light refreshments or a community potluck. Regional seminars range in length from one to three days and are held throughout the United States and internationally. Major ECK seminars feature a talk by Sri Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader of Eckankar, in person or by live remote telecast. These seminars attract thousands of spiritual seekers and members of Eckankar. Satsang ClassesAn ECK Satsang class offers group study of discourses (lessons) written by the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master. Satsang classes help awaken Soul to greater truth and divine love. They can bring deeper awareness of the Mahanta and your inner world and help you in meeting the challenges of daily life. In the words of Sri Harold Klemp, "The ECK Satsang classes are the mainstay of the outer works of ECK." Receiving ECK discourses—required study materials for Satsang classes—is one of the benefits of ECK membership.

Bay Area ECK Worship Service The ECK Worship Service provides an uplifting setting to relax and deepen our understanding of how Divine Spirit (the ECK) works in our lives. This month's service features a talk and group discussion on the topic "Finding God’s Blessings in Your Life." Herb Litvak is the officiator The service begins with a short reading from the ECK works, followed by a brief HU Song and time for quiet contemplation. It includes music, stories, and an opportunity to share your insights with others who attend. Kid-Friendly Services: During the Worship Service, a play room is provided for children. DEBBIE JOHNSON EVENTS Live Radio Interview: SEEING BEYOND Join Bonnie Colleen on her radio show Seeing Beyond as she interviews Debbie Johnson, international speaker, Eckankar member, and author of Soul Travel to Find God’s Love. FREE TALK AND BOOKSIGNING Soul Travel Saves a Woman’s Life Debbie Johnson, author of three Eckankar books, will be sharing stories from her latest book, Soul Travel to Find God’s Love. You’ll hear about how she used Soul Travel techniques to save her life when she was in a harrowing car accident last year. Debbie and others will also share stories showing the endless benefits of Soul Travel Debbie starts the series on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the East-West Bookstore in Mountain View with a book signing and free talk entitled “Soul Travel Saves a Woman’s Life.”
$20 in advance (includes book), $25 at door, $10 if you have book. Debbie's workshop on Saturday, Jan. 31, also at East-West, is entitled “Overcome Fear with Soul Travel.” Debbie will take you through selected spiritual exercises to give you the opportunity to discover new levels of divine love and enter heavenly worlds beyond anything you have yet experienced.
